    A J Bailey

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Feb. 10, 2012)
When Jack Rohan is saved from the school bully by a mysterious stranger who turns out to be a ghost masquerading as the famous pirate Blackbeard, he realizes surviving middle school is going to be harder then he thought. Now Jack has to learn how to use his new found talent of psychometry to stop being bullied and help the ghost find peace. Jack has to find a way to get rid of Ben Haskell, a 300 year old ghost who believes he was cursed by a gypsy before he died. Ben believes the only way to break the curse and find peace is to help Jack deal with the school bully. Jack and his friends, Sam and Abby decide to help Ben break the curse. Jack uses his psychic talent of psychometry to touch various objects from the past to learn the truth behind the curse that has kept Ben earth bound all these years. While trying to help Ben, Jack has to find a way to stop being bullied by the toughest kid in school and ask the girl he likes to the school dance. Could life get any worse?
  • "Aw, Shucks!"

    Amy R Bailey

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Oct. 13, 2010)
We have all heard bad words used INAPPROPRIATELY for ORDINARY situations. However, sometimes "bad" words are the only APPROPRIATE way to define a HORRIBLE situation, to express trauma, or to verbalize total despair. Lucille's struggle to learn the difference, is a humorous story that encourages us to think about what we say, why we say, and when to say it. Not just for kids.
